Carpenter/Finisher - Commercial Concrete

Full Time - $30-45 / hour

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction-related tasks and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

This is an overview of responsibilities and may not include all duties required for the position.

  • Layout

  • Setting grades and squaring up structures

  • Concrete knowledge

  • Placement of foundations, flatwork, and vertical structures

  • Understanding pressures, finishing, and curing

  • Formwork Knowledge

  • Wood, gang, and shoring form

  • Ability to climb forms

  • Setting large gang forms with hoisting equipment

  • Follow daily work plans, reports, and complete timecards accurately

  • Lift 75+ pounds

  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or company security operations for the protection of people and property.

Compensation

  • Pay: $30-$45 hourly or local prevailing wage when applicable

  • Medical, vision and dental insurance coverage is available on the first day of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.

  • 401K plan available for eligible employees on the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment. DCC offers 100% contribution matching up to 4% of the employee’s eligible wages.

Project Location and Commitments

  • Project Locations - Central Oregon only

  • Project Duration – Full-time hours plus overtime as needed.

  • 8–10 hour shifts

  • Overtime may be available

  • Many Projects are subject to Prevailing Wage Rates

  • Evening/weekend work may be necessary to meet milestones

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 2 years of form/concrete carpentry experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of reading plans and drawings with basic math skills.

  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and at heights

  • Pre-employment drug testing

  • Adhere to all safety requirements

  • Commitment to teamwork, safe work practices, and integrity

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Monday to Friday

  • Overtime

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)

Heavy Civil - Equipment Operator

Full Time - $35-40 / hour

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy equipment and machinery, particularly in construction settings.

Responsibilities

This is an overview of responsibilities and may not include all duties required for the position.

  • Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, skid steers, mini excavator, roller, etc

  • Perform tasks related to civil construction

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment on construction sites

  • Follow project specifications and blueprints for accurate work execution

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance

  • Assist in building and construction activities as needed

Experience

  • Prior experience in heavy equipment operation, with a focus on construction site work

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems related to heavy equipment
